Notes:
  • Honourable mentions to Metis Marc Dalton who ran for the Conservative nomination in Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge, Mike Murray won the nomination.
  • After be nominated Shelly Glover, Metis MP from Saint Boniface has rescinded her nomination and will not be running in the upcoming election. She served as Minister of Heritage and other cabinet roles in the Harper Conservative government.
  • You can find a list of nominated CPC candidates here. We were unable to determine if any of the current candidates are nominated, but will update accordingly.
  • We sent a message to Peter Penashue (First Nations) to see if he planned on seeking the Conservative nomination in Labrador. Peter was elected in 2011, however resigned his seat in 2013.
  • Please let us know if there are any other Indigenous people nominated or seeking nomination.
